What is the added value of a base plate? It can be an aesthetic choice to place a base plate under the standard anthracite concrete picnic set. Simply because you find that more attractive than having the picnic set 'loose' in the space. It is also common that the surface on which the picnic set is placed is too soft to bear the weight of the set or that the surface is not even. A base plate is the ideal solution against unwanted growth of moss, grass or weeds under the table and seats.

What does the concrete base plate from HeBlad weigh? The weight of the anthracite concrete base plate for the picnic set is 1000 kg. The base plate distributes the weight of the picnic set (905 kg) over the entire surface of the plate. The dimensions of the plate are 248 x 236 x 7 cm. The entire plate is provided with an anti-slip diamond profile and has pre-drilled holes for M16 bolts with which the picnic set is secured to the plate.

Variants of the concrete base plate

The base plate for the standard picnic sets is also available in the colour natural concrete. This plate has the same specifications and dimensions, but in the neutral concrete colour. Specifically for the picnic sets with a length of 246 cm, we make the base plate anthracite concrete 246, it has a dimension of 245 x 300 x 10 cm and weighs 1700 kg. These large base plates can also be ordered in the colours natural concrete and anthracite concrete.

Base plate picnic set or table tennis table

Base plates are also available for HeBlad table tennis tables. The base plate ping-pong table anthracite concrete and the base plate ping-pong table natural concrete have a dimension of 299 x 179 x 10 cm, a weight of 1270 kg and are made of smooth concrete. The holes for the attachment of the ping-pong table have already been pre-drilled in exactly the right places.

Delivery of base plate

Due to the size and weight of the base plates, it is important that we can come within five meters of the installation location with our delivery truck. We always ask for the ground to be prepared in advance, i.e. to dig it out in the right place at the right depth. We can then use our crane to perfectly place the base plate directly from the truck. Unlike a billiards or table football table, the ball does not have to roll.
Football tables: Only our football tables must be placed level!!
Ping pong tables and foot volleyball tables: We place these with the bottom in place. In this way, the height of the table, measured relative to your feet, is the same on both sides. This is certainly an advantage if the children play the game "Around the table". They then do not have to adapt to a height difference. After all, if the table were level and the floor sloped, the table would feel higher on one side compared to the other.
Benches and picnic sets: In principle, these are all placed with the bottom. Our driver always ensures that the products cannot 'wobble'.

Can advertising also be placed on your products?

Advertising on our tables can often help associations and schools find a sponsor. We only offer advertisement options when ordering a concrete table football game. Our name can be seen in the stainless steel plate behind both goals as standard. It is possible to have a sponsor name or logo made here. The costs are not too high and the delivery time will be a few weeks longer.
